Chinese internet slang.
Douyin (抖音) and Xiaohongshu (小红书) are where much of everyday Chinese is now invented. The slang can look like a code, but most of it is ordinary Chinese used in a new way or a pun on a sound, and once someone points out the logic it is very learnable.
A day is marked done when you pass its quiz at the end: get 5 of its 8 questions right.
Slang dates fast. Every term here was in wide use when this was written, and the course marks the ones already sounding old. Assumes the daily course to about day 15.
